New Plugin: Modelling

SubSpline is an advanced sub-object selector and material ID editor for spline shapes in Max. With it you can easily expose on screen the vertex numbers and material IDs for all of your selected shapes, and take advantage of cutting-edge tools for spline sub-object selection that complement and extend Max's standard tools: shrink/grow selection, offset selection, dot selection, random selection, and more. You can also accurately manage and control the material ID assignment for your spline curves and their segments: quick buttons, predefined patterns, offset IDs, randomize IDs, etc. This is really useful for controlling materials in spline modeling, hair plugins or procedural modelling plugins like RailClone.

SubSpline is available for Max 2012 to 2019 and normally costs $18. For a limited time you can get a license for $9.

Site News: Calling all freeware plugin developers

If you are a plugin developer with source code for plugins that you don't develop anymore, it would be great if you could get in touch with me. I would be glad to recompile as many old plugins as possible to stop them from disappearing for ever. Just mail me to let me know what sort of stuff you've got.

On a side note, this is how the Messiah:studio plugins got recompiled for Max 9 to 2012, as well as all of the Sisyphus plugins, so it's worth sending stuff my way :o)

Dave
