New Plugin: Texturing

Realworld Resizer is a commercial MAXScript that allows you to resize all bitmaps on selected objects or just bitmaps with certain material IDs. It can resize while respecting the texture aspect ratio, and you can setup size presets in any units. It supports Bitmap, Fstorm Bitmap, Corona Bitmap and Redshift Bitmap.

PolyDamage is a commercial MAXScript to quickly add damage and imperfections to models. It is a quick alternative to manually sculpting damage with other software packages and quickly adds damage to corners and edges. Since it is procedural, you can make millions of damage variations of one single object. You can adjust the parameters and adjust the depth of damage, or edge damage amount. Adjust the resolution slider to increase the level of detail in damaged areas. PolyDetail gives a unique material ID for damaged faces so you can apply a specific damage material to only damaged faces.

PolyDamage is available for Max 2015 to 2020 and costs $29.

New Plugin: Utilities

This commercial MAXScript enhances the way you work with textures in the Slate material editor. You can drag bitmaps in the correct format for the renderer you are using, resize textures proportionally, set up size presets in any units and much more.

Site News: Calling all freeware plugin developers

If you are a plugin developer with source code for plugins that you don't develop anymore, it would be great if you could get in touch with me. I would be glad to recompile as many old plugins as possible to stop them from disappearing for ever. Just mail me to let me know what sort of stuff you've got.

On a side note, this is how the Messiah:studio plugins got recompiled for Max 9 to 2012, as well as all of the Sisyphus plugins, so it's worth sending stuff my way :o)
