The distributable NWC file exporter enables project teams using Navisworks software to generate whole-project models for simulation and analysis. Team members can generate the optimised NWC file directly from Max without the need for a licensed seat of Navisworks. The NWC file format supports transfer of both object geometry and associated metadata.

These plugins allow you to import and export .glm models to and from Max. GLM models that are weighted to a skeleton can be imported with a skeleton if you have the matching .GLA file. If you don't have one, you can cancel that step and an unweighted model will be imported.

The plugins have been tested with creating/modifying for Jedi Academy:
- Player models
- Creature models (non-player usable models, such as rancor and wampa)
- Sabers
- Vehicles
- Weapons

They should probably work for Jedi Outcast as well, but this has not been tested.

The Exocortex Crate product suite is a set of open source, professional grade Alembic plugins and tools that enable VFX studios and independent VFX professionals to standardize their tool chains around the Alembic file format as the core data interchange and automation format.

The Exocortex Crate suite consists of three digital content creation (DCC) plugins for Alembic import/export. These three plugins provide a consistent interface and guaranteed data convertibility between other Exocortex Crate components:
- Alembic for Softimage
- Alembic for 3DS Max
- Alembic for Maya
In addition to the DCC tool plugins, there are also two complimentary tools:
- Alembic for Python
- Alembic for Arnold

Originally a commercial plugin, Exocortex have kindly made the plugin suite open source. You can find the source code here.

OgreMax is a collection of tools for Ogre 3D and Max. It includes the following:

- A .scene exporter for Max, with precompiled binaries for Max 2010 to 2015. The .scene support is fairly extensive, and has been extended to include additional items such as shadow configuration, user data, as well as some other settings
- A .scene viewer with keyboard, mouse, and Xbox 360 gamepad support. The viewer and its scene loading code can form the foundation of your own Ogre 3D game/program
- Documentation is also included, which you should read before using the exporter or viewer

This freeware version is for non-commercial use only, and has the following restrictions:
- Only one texture coordinate set will be exported per mesh
- Only one texture unit will be exported per OgreMax material
- No support is provided
