New Plugin: Utilities

Allows you to import and update models coming from Archicad, Revit, Sketchup and Rhino3d while keeping applied materials, modifiers and properties. The meshes are linked through their material's names to the original. Original meshes are automatically reorganised by materials in Max, and all modifiers, properties and materials applied in Max will be subsequently applied to the corresponding meshes when the link is updated.

Mirza Link Manager is available for Max 2012 to 2018 and costs €45.35.


Plugin Update: Texturing

Changes for v1.04 are:
- Fixes a bug when adding Unwrap Pro before another modifier in the modifier stack

Unwrap Pro is available for Max 9 to 2018 and costs €100.


Plugin Updates: Sitni Sati plugins for Max 2018

Sitni Sati d.o.o. have updated a number of their plugins to support Max 2018.

New Plugin: Modelling

Pathstribute is a commercial MAXScript which gives allows you to distribute a mesh along any number of splines. You have a variety of controls to adjust the number of clones, the placement of the copies, scale, and the rotation. All controls support animation.

Pathstribute is available for Max 2012 to 2018 and costs $3.

New Plugin: Modelling

TurboSplines is a commercial MAXScript for creating multiple spline wrapping animations (aka. path deform animations) incredibly fast. It automatically assigns Path Deform modifiers to preset or custom meshes and helps you quickly produce many spline-driven animations, which you can easily control from a friendly interface, allowing you to make growing splines, animated cables, wires, ropes, ribbons, moving tentacles, branches, worms, etc. TurboSplines uses Max standard modifiers and geometry, so you can edit your meshes and animations without needing the script.

TurboSplines is available for Max 2012 to 2018 and costs $40. A demo version is available here.
