Based on the same simple workflow as its predecessors, users build and animate a jointed skeleton for their objects, then apply Bones Pro 3 to those objects they want controlled by the bones. But we've also added a host of new features. The biggest is the addition of MetaBones and ParaBones. These powerful extras allow users further control of the deformations of their characters through the use of simple primitive objects that are used as constraints within the skeleton. This means that instead of having to build a complicated skeleton to get hard creases (like an elbow), the user can now insert a new MetaBones object to further control the deformation at the joint.

3DXI provides a High Level API to the Max SDK, primarily focused at data export. The goal was to provide a set of interfaces that would allow a novice Max developer to extract data from Max with minimal effort.

3DXI provides simple wrappers around common Max elements such as controllers and Mesh objects and provides the developer all the data without the standard Max lookups and data conversions, which can take some detailed knowledge of Max to perform.

This plugin allows Max to render normalmaps as bumpmaps. Simply put this texture in the bump channel and its submap rgb will affect the render. Works especially well with the Discreet Normalmap Generator Utility. The next version will have the option of choosing from ATI, NVidia, or Discreet style map standards.

This plugin adds a new geometry object which creates a statistically generated ocean wave suface. It allows you to set parameters like wind direction and strength, required detail, etc., to control the appearance of the sea surface. This is basically the same 'Tessendorf' method used to generate the ocean surface in movies like 'Titanic'.
