This is what it says on the website: 'For a limited time, Luminaire is FREE! Yes, you heard right, Free! Why am I doing this? This is not a reflection of how I value Luminaire, but a protest of software developers against corrupt business managers. For this, I am prepared to give to you, the supportive Max and VIZ community, a full license for the Luminaire Global Illumination Tools absolutely free, no strings attached!'

To gain unrestricted access to all the features you will need to purchase a full user license.

Plugin Update: Utilities

Changes for v4.0.2 are: Conversion and export of Lightwave, Amapi, Truespace files to Max. The plugin itself hasn't really changed, almost all of the changes are in the browser. The demo version is now fully functional.

Plugin Update: Utilities

Changes for v1.06 are: Bugfix - precomputed lighting was not exported. Bugfix - the texture stretching was quite messed up in v1.05 due to some internal tests I forgot to remove. Now it's fixed, and you have a new option in the Max Texture Size droplist : Nearest power of 2. This tells Flexporter to downsample the textures to the nearest power of two in both width and height, which allows non-square textures to be exported in a hardware-friendly size. Shapes are now exported.
